Welcome to the Disabled Sportsmen of America Website
We are a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization. We believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that every individual, regardless of disability, has the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. We have no age limits on our adventures, and welcome any and all children wanting to enjoy the outdoors. Whether it is hunting, rafting, a camping trip, or even a day of fishing, DSA staff will assist in making their outdoor dreams a reality.
Disabled Sportsmen of America is operated 100% by volunteers and is funded through sponsors, donations and fundraising. Without the help of our sponsors and gifts from generous individuals, we would not have items for the fundraisers. There are many other organizations that offer help to disabled sportsmen, but some support their staff with a salary. No staff member of DSA is paid for any services. All contributions go directly to fund a DSA event.

In memory of John Kevin Van Cowart John was an avid outdoorsman. His dream was to win the lottery so he could buy hunting land and have it accommodate disabled hunters. John loved the outdoors and even though he was wheel chair bound, it never stopped him from doing what he loved. "Van" as his friends and family knew him, was recently taken from this world in a tragic car accident. On behalf of DSA, our prayers go out to Van's (John Cowart's) family and friends. God bless you all. |
The following donations have been made to DSA in Van's memory:
